If you just want to try the feeling of dog sledding Short dogsled tour (about 1 hour): On this tour you will get a taste of dog sledding. During the tour you will be sitting on the sledge. The tour is planned to take about 45 to 60 minutes. It depends on the weight on the sledge, and the state of the snow, and can change a little from time to time. The tours are arranged on the glaciers in the summertime. Remember to pet the big hairy Greenland sled dogs after the ride; it is the cheapest and best way to tip them. In late summertime is 4wd or snow scooter (snowmobile) transfer up on the glacier included in the tour length and price. * The short tours are arranged from June to August, September, depending on the snow and conditions on the glacier. What do I have to bring ?: * Warm clothes. Clothes for wet weather if it looks like rain. * In May the last 8 kilometers from the main road can be difficult in a regular car, call one or two days before to check road conditions. We charge 7.000, - isk a person for a pick-up by the main road if the road is accessible by a normal car.
